WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Whether you are already participating in a retirement plan, an employee of a company, or a small business owner, it is imperative to know how to get the most out of your retirement planning.

Attendees will learn:

  • What SEP and Solo 401k means and why you should choose one over the other
  • The type of retirement plan that allows the greatest contribution limits for the business owner
  • Why it might be easier than you think to set-up a retirement plan for your small business

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Erin Yost is an Associate Financial Consultant with the Owen Lehrkind Legacy Group a Member of D.A. Davidson & Co, in Bozeman, where she works alongside her clients to help them create financial roadmaps that are unique to each of their lives. Her focus is on developing an understanding of each client’s specific priorities and life objectives, which she then partners with the appropriate investment vehicle. Erin has been working in the securities industry for over 13 years. She holds a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS®) designation and is working toward her Certified Financial Planner certification. She is a graduate from University of Montana, in business administration.

Erika Ferris, Associate Vice President, Retirement Plan Consultant, joined Davidson Companies in 1999. She spent the first five years with Davidson Trust Co., a sister company of D.A. Davidson, providing record keeping services including compliance testing, plan administration, document design, and educational meetings for retirement plan clients. As part of the D.A. Davidson Retirement Plan Services Department, she assists financial consultants in finding solutions for prospective and current retirement plan clients. Erika also acts as a resource to financial consultants on questions regarding qualified and non-qualified plans, ESOPs and IRAs including SIMPLE, SEP, Traditional and Roth IRAs. Erika received a BS in Business – Accounting from Montana State University and holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC®) designation through ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation.
