Do you know who supports your nonprofit organization? This session will explore cost of data anarchy, introduce platform best practices, and continue the hunt for a unicorn (perfect) system.

Tim Lockie is the Founder of Now IT Matters (NiM), an IT consulting firm that helps nonprofit organizations to do More Good Better by harnessing the power of Salesforce.

Tim studied Economics and Business at San Francisco State. He has been directly involved in nonprofit management for over 20 years. Prior to founding NiM, he was the Director of Recruiting at InnerChange. While there, Tim quickly realized what an impact the lack of solid, formal systems to track potential recruits was having on the organization. He saw the connection between people who wanted to serve but were unable to connect, and system failure. He began to understand that these systems are not just a minor detail; they are integral to goal achievement and growth.

In 2008, Tim started a custom implementation of Salesforce and became a SF evangelist. Today, Tim believes that technology is as much art as it is science. Technology does not only consist of systems; it is also capable of empowering others—which is the vision of Now IT Matters. Tim grew up in Bozeman, Montana and now resides there with his wife and two children.
