FREE EVENT: Nonprofit Café – Create an Amazing Year-End Appeal, 10/28/2016

Nearly a third of total annual giving happens in December and 12% of all donations are made in the last three days of the year. About 28% of non-profits raise between a quarter and half of all their yearly funds during December. BUT even more (36%) raise less than 10% with their annual appeal.

This means there is a huge margin for improvement for most nonprofits!  Attend the Nonprofit Café on October 28 and learn how to

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Does thinking about your annual appeal give you a panic attack?

Maybe you don’t have enough staff, a tiny budget, not enough time, and no idea on how to craft a message that will inspire your donors.

Are you wondering where to have your appeals printed, mail them on the cheap, and how to get people to open your letter in the first place?

Come with all your questions and challenges and leave with at least one actionable idea to make this year’s appeal better (or get one out the door at all if it’s your first time). No judgements, no fancy complicated, expensive, sales pitchy programs/software/tools you have to have! Just a few dedicated, creative and gritty non-profit peeps just like you who are happy to share ideas on what’s worked for them.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Our presenters form the Bozeman Nonprofit Development Peer Group, which is a group of local non-profit unicorns dedicated to make the world awesome-ER while supporting each other with ideas and discussions surrounding all things non-profit.

If you’d like to join these monthly coffee shop hopping meetings of brilliant sparks and true collaboration, please email E.J. Porth at ej@gvlt.org.
