In this full-day workshop, participants will learn effective strategies for successful grant writing and leave with new ideas and actual writing samples that can be incorporated in their next grant proposal.

Laura Rhodes is the principal at Third Sector Consulting, a boutique nonprofit consulting firm based in Bozeman, MT. Laura specializes in prospect research as well as grant writing support for organizations that want to write their own grants. She also leads workshops, webinars, retreats and fundraising training for nonprofit staff and boards.

Laura has more than 15 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising and nonprofit development. She has worked on staff and also served as a board member for numerous nonprofit organizations. Prior starting her consulting business, Laura was a program officer with the American Express Foundation. Today, she is a Certified Grant Writer.

Having been both a grantmaker and a fundraiser, Laura uses her unique perspective to help nonprofits find more funders, win more grants and raise more money for their cause.
